Sometime this evening on the East Coast of the United States, we are going to get the first debate between two presidential hopefuls. I’m not really convinced of the genuine value of this ride. I do not particularly find either of the candidates to be particularly stimulating. I think there was a time when Kamala Harris truly impressed me. But this was not for her image, the only thing that the Democratic party seems to think is important. What impressed me was how she worked. She was not afraid to go directly into the lunacy that is conservative speech making. She had caught a carpetbagger. It was right there. She was ripping him apart and she had that thing about her. It was when Mom catches you and there’s not a lie you can possibly tell to get out of it. I was hooked.

Unfortunately, we don’t get that version. We don’t get the one that’s on fire. We don’t get the one that gives a sense of hope. We only get the ones who are now almost completely images. They say safe things and they do safe things and they follow the program and that’s all.
Let’s be fair, I never did believe that Kamala Harris would go communism on us. What I liked about her was that we had criminals all over the place making a complete farce out of the United States government and she was one of several people doing the job to keep the weeds at bay. Al Franken was another absolute tiger. Intellectually astute. Okay, he was Jewish. I do not believe all Jews have superhuman mental capabilities. I don’t know what the demographic is but for myself, I stay astute and I keep the brain in shape at least. It means something to keep something in shape rather than let it fall into complete idiot disrepair.
This is my actual problem with both of the candidates. Kamala Harris was removed from the fight and given a safe job inside the party. She was given a position of importance even though nobody was ever allowed to vote for her. I mean, she was the one. But what is the vice president’s job? We don’t have a government where everyone shares in the decision making process. Perhaps we do but it is at the discretion of leadership. Kamala was probably at the table the whole time but she was only talking when Joe said talk. And when she talks about her time as vice president, you can hear that the most important thing is to say how much we love Joe. You get the feeling like this is what it’s like around the White House most of the time. Remember everybody, we just absolutely love Joe.
She’s not going to do anything to change things. She’s not going to slow down the economy because the economy will not be touched. This is the one interesting thing in our massive two party system. We have way of making all the information available from the leadership into propaganda sound bites. It’s all image building. We just want an image that will make people happy. But we won’t. Because we have some people playing defense. And that is the cause of all of the problems. We have problems because we have problem makers.
This is Donald Trump. If you listen to him make speeches, you understand the heart and the soul of conservative Republican politicians. They don’t have a flying clue what they are talking about. They understand that they are important and powerful people. They understand that they can make things happen because they are important and powerful. They enjoy a certain level of fear and intimidation and they are not sorry to share the fact that they like this situation very much. They find it suits them very much to be leaders. In fact, I don’t think Donald Trump understands what working is. I don’t think he’s had to work a day in his life. I don’t think he’s ever had to worry about his next meal. And I certainly don’t think he’s ever had a moment wondering if he can keep a family together.
I don’t even think he knows anybody like that. Except for his staff.
He is an appealing drunk. He’s a funny guy to hang out with and have a beer. This is exactly the size of it. He’s got a sense of humor. He talks shit. Oh you know them. They are bad people. You know the Mexicans are bad. We got to stop the Mexicans from doing bad things. You know that I’m the only one who can stop the wars. Is it true that the war in Ukraine began during your watch? It’s absolutely true. All of that went on the moment Trump was in office. Interesting to say how this is all biden’s problem. But then again, it’s always been tradition for the Democrats to try and work on the economy, the Republicans to completely fail and then start a war so they don’t have to get caught looking like a bunch of idiots who can’t run a country and then the war gets handed back to the Democrats just to make things more difficult when they try to make everything run okay.
For me, I do not believe in the economic system as it is. I do not believe in a commodities based world where everybody can have anything simply because we haven’t have gasoline to run trucks and boats and planes to get it there. I am aware of what it’s like to live a physical life. I remember being younger and I remember working all of the different jobs and career episodes I was responsible for. It’s a lot that you have to do with your body and I specifically worked very physically most of my life. Well, until I started teaching anyway. But what I want to say is that this absolute necessity of seeing everybody’s body show up in a different place might need to change. Traveling somewhere might need to be a genuine issue and not something we do everyday. Maybe everyday needs to be within walking distance for everybody. Maybe we don’t need to have any deals going on internationally while we all try to make enough money to escape the hell that is our environment. Maybe it’s time we start working on building an environment we like living in for a change.
I’m only 30 minutes into this and I want to tell you that there is no argument as to what’s going on here. Kamala Harris has a point. She has facts and she has what she wants to know. She also happens to know Donald Trump’s record on all of these issues that are important to either side and she tells everybody the truth. And then Trump starts talking about how wonderfully he is, how he understands the problem and therefore he will fix it. And he is a child. He is an insane human being who has regressed to childhood. This isn’t even funny.
If I have to say something negative, Harris is playing with him sexually. I would say all things considered that this is a reasonable tactic. If it were a genuine statesman with a great desire for the world to be correct and true, it would be reprehensible. But if we’re talking to Donald Trump, all she’s doing is getting him excited. And the more excited he gets, the more he blathers on incoherently. He falls back on a greatest hits list of things to say even if they are not relevant to his current point. He just can’t win because there is no audience cheering for him. You can’t really be a rock and roll president without an audience.
By the way, his statements are ridiculous and outrageous. The The moderator is keeping the facts straight up front. Trump is arguing with him, he is arguing with Harris. He is arguing generally but he is not arguing with anything real.
I like when Harris reminded Trump that about the time they would be holding the elections, he would be obligated to show up for sentencing for 34 felony crimes. He’s arguing about this. Everybody is against Donald Trump.
I don’t mean to stretch things too far but wasn’t this James Dean? I’m just talking about the years when people were told what was cool and what was not. It would kind of go with the pompadour. But why is everybody always picking on me seemed to be the angst portrayed by James Dean. I wonder how much of this got into Trump’s character. I’m not saying it gets in the way of any business decisions. I don’t think he ever does anything for anybody but himself. Maybe family. Maybe favors. Maybe if he owes money or if someone has some dirt on him. But what he doesn’t do is speak proactively in any way that anyone can understand. He has no plans, he can’t explain how to do anything and all he does is scream that he is being pursued. It’s a witch hunt. Or, it’s a genuine hunt that is deserved or, he’s a witch. Maybe we should burn him.
This is about as non-existent a contest as could be. The worst thing is when he starts violently ranting and they have a split screen with Harris on the right and Trump on the left, she has a concerned look on her face. He is insane. She can see it. I can see it. The moderator can see it. We know at least reasonably that half of the United States can see it. I doubt very much the Russians can see it because they are officially not allowed to see it. The Belarusians can’t see it because they’re not allowed to look. I can see it. You can see it.
Right now, they are talking about the January attack on the Capitol. It is interesting to have to take this man seriously again. I don’t remember any genuinely serious political arguments being made. We just have lunatics acting up for Instagram accounts read by Nazis. I don’t understand it. I don’t understand the pride.
Actually, what I really think is this is a really true demonstration of how low the political machine will go. The things they ask people to believe is too much even for a Christian organization. We just can’t do this anymore.
We are a nation in decline. We are dying.
This is Donald Trump answering a question about something completely different.
Yeah, Harris just challenged his sanity. Not directly. Not even the primary point of the sentence. She even threw in a double negative to hide it. But the basic question was how we could deal with someone who is infect a disgrace. A human disgrace. It’s not that the country is in decline and dying, Donald Trump is in decline and dying.
I don’t know. People are pretty crazy and the media is so overwhelming that keeping people crazy seems to be the only business anyone wants to engage in. The biggest problem on the planet that I can see is ecology and I say we put as much manpower on it as humanly possible. It cures everything including 90% of the pollution and even lowers the prices of groceries in a way.
But what we definitely have is whether or not we need a crazy person backed by the Russians and the oil business continuing to have access to the nuclear codes. I say we have to put an end to this nightmare once and for all. This has been the number one political thing that I can see on the planet and has been for the last 8 years. 8 years of absolute misery. That’s misery in the United States and misery here. And again, the only thing we never did was dive into a ecology as a way to right the boat.
About the wars? She’s not really going to stop any of them except to be involved in peace talks. She’s not going to come up with the plan that ends things because she’s not even going to ask for it. She’s only going to ask for the lunatics to stop being lunatics. That’s irony actually. It’s like asking Donald Trump to stop pretending he should be president.
